HI folks,

Just got a second 7900GT today, XFX version(old one is Point of view) The performance increase seems to be minimum, from just under 6K in 06 to just under 7K, I chucked BF2 from med settings with hi geometry to high@ 1280x1024 and I could tell the FPS was dipping quite low, anyone else have any issues with SLi??.

Cheers,

Gerry.

Hey 7K in 06? damm thats good.

Anyways as far as i know, Sli does not really increase your FPS by alot, but really helps when you use High resolutions, thats where Sli really kicks in, try using 1600x1240 plus. And its also good for using 2 monitors and using widescreen Lcd's.

Edit: this is off topic, but how much u overclocked ur x2 3800? :p just interested.

Are you sure the ones getting 16,000 are using 3DMark06? Probably 05, but not 06.

yea i think your mistaking it for 05 :p

with the sli, it only really kicks in when u running high resolutions or another monitor, as vortexkrow said. if you want your sli to mean anything, get a new monitor or another one :p:D
