i swear it looks like it's running it at 16x12, even tho it's saying otherwise

it doesn't have the weird res thing that happens to lcd's at non native resolutions (like what i had with my ati gto2

i changed my desktop res to 10x7 and my framerates are waaay higher

i think my af is set to 4x also, and nv cp is overriding 3d05, but idk

i think i may have rushed the install process, but that's okay cuz i think i should do a fresh xp anyways

:D

running tests again, but i'm letting the app decide the quality etcetc

i want 11000!!!!

any ideas on the memclock thing in atitool?

i see that on8/18 when w1zz released the new atitool, it said he fixed the memclock readings on 79XX series cards, maybe it's weird for these new gtos

anybody else with a gto got any words?

i installed the evga quick res changer, did the coolbits quick oc thing and it went to 700/760 from 650/660

i think i could do some more ocing and some bios tweaking and i could get upwards of 11000, esp once i get my ram back up to 200mhz lol

i g2g for tonight tho cuz it's my housemates 21st and i'm getting crunk
peace

You need to change your system specs now, to a 7900GTO instead of X800GTO2.

installed it 3 hour ago.. had to change chipset cooling because of big PCB... :ohwell:

so far I managed to take it to 650@725 MHz core and 660@800 MHz for RAM... could you advice what utility to use so that I could try higher MHz for RAM? because coolbits shows me 800 max range... :shadedshu

or how to change the range in coolbits. thanks for help.

btw: this card is kind of surprise :rockout: i used to be ATi fan, but price of this stuff rocks!

i almost forgot... see screen

Mustang you're getting beat. Your the only GTO owner who hasn't broken the 11k mark.

i know i need to go higher, but i still need to tweak it

i haven't had any time tho, i was writing a lab report while benching last night
and i'm at work right now

i've got to cut back on some activities cuz im only gettting about 5 horus of sleep a night and i'm still barely getting my work done(i'm rocking exams, but it always feels like i shouldnt be)

plus i never get anytime to just chill!

quick Q for all: which drivers are you using? z-tweaked? 91.47?91.48 beta? i've only ran it with z-tweaked

Here is the .08 based EVGA GTO BIOS with the default clocks set at 650/750 and the tRRD set to 8 versus 10. So far, it is the best performing BIOS I have tested.

It will also let your coolbits detect much higher.

:)

i can't wait to get home at 12mid and try this out

when i let coolbits do it's thing automatically it goes from 650/660 to 700/760, not as high as i want

but it's still at 53C which is downright frosty (not really, but i wouldn't mind getting into the low 60's, especially cuz i think i'm going to get the g80 through the step up program :D

thanx again h20
