9700pro or 9800se

should i go for a 9700 pro or a 9800se aiw and mod it???its for my bro in law in trying ta build him a decent system to last him a few years he aint a hardcore gamer but i would sumthing he can play games on if he wants ....thanks

If your willing to take a chance on opening the pipes on the 9800se, then go for it. Though the 9700 Pro is much more powerful out of the box.

9700...its damn close to the 9800 and theres no risk. Plus if you dont need hardcore gaming a 9700 is fine.
