I'm building my first gaming rig and am in need of a bit of advice.
I've semi-decided on the following parts, but need guidance choosing a few parts:
Mobo- ASUS p5n-d 750i http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=27901&vpn=P5N-D&manufacture=ASUS
CPU- Intel Core2Duo e8400 http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=27784&vpn=BX80570E8400&manufacture=Intel
GPU- EVGA E-GEFORCE GTX 260 576MHZ 896MB 2.0GHZ http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=30924&vpn=896-P3-1260-AR&manufacture=eVGA
I have a hard-drive, optical drive and case, but I'm not sure where to look for the following:
PSU- (I'm guessing over 600W?)
RAM- I'd like to max it out at 4gb
Heatsink/fan- I plan to overclock the CPU from 3GHZ up to potentially 4 GHZ
Please keep in mind I'm on a $1000 budget and have already racked up about $800 with the first three components. So, any preferences for the latter three? Thank you very much in advance!
