Acer Aspire 7720g Lost Display

Hello my laptop lost its display the other day so i did a restart it flashed on boot and then went black,everything else works fine,plugged in another monitor all in order except display,reinstalled Graphics Drivers{ATI hd2300}no change- any ideas thankyou
