Well this sucks I have 2 5770's so this is not going to give me any improvement at all ? WTH ?? I will just have to stick with my 10.10e drivers then !
It sure would be nice for them to make a driver that has improvements for all there cards not just a chosen few ! This is what I find messed up about AMD/ATI drivers ! Not only do they put out HOT fix after HOT fix and driver after driver but most of them are designed for just 2 or 3 cards and that is messed up !
Looks like my next build is going to be based on nVidia SLI and NOT crossfire !
Sure enough ... only reason I have ATI cards is because I bought a Gigabyte X48T mobo which unfortunatley supports Only CrossFire and not SLI.
I didn't have many problems with the HD 3870 in CF, but One card overheated so I decided to upgrade and bought a MSI R6870 Twin Frozr II Radeon HD 6870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5.
I haven't yet got the performance it should deliver and have consistant issues. Been waiting for a Driver that will work ... practically 3 months of Down Time. Maybe would of been better off looking for an available used HD 3870 on eBay. But I am stuck with a HD 6870 that operates funky ( nearly call it JUNK ) cause of Driver issues.
I have indicated my next PC build will be for nVidia video cards only.
Have owned nVidia cards for 12 years ..went ATI .. good for 30 months.. bought another ATI card and Placed on Hold due to driver for last 3 months.
nVidia has never failed me or Placed Me On Hold ! Bye-Bye AMD/ATI ..... Welcome Back nVidia!
