I remember playing this old horror game back in the 90s on a PS1 but I don't remember what it's called though.
What I remember through the gameplay is that I started out in this dungeony area that had these talking demon/beast heads in it that wouldn't let you pass till you got a special key or something. The character you played kinda reminded me of Jack Skellington but was more morbid and primitive I suppose. I remember getting a sword in some kind of coffin or from somewhere in the dungeon and some bags of gold and some other things. Also these open books that you could read spells out of (I think they were spells) that were on pedestals.
There was a final gate you had to open to go into this graveyard and then all these re-animated corpses or skeletons started attacking you.
I can't remember really anything after that but if you would have any idea as to what this game is called please reply.
