Are there any major differences between the Corsair TX and HX series power supply?

    besides the fact that the HX is a modular power supply, are there any other differences between the two?

    manufacturer? Its the same manufacturer, and thats corsair.

    No, Corsair doesn't make them. They buy them and rebrand them. I think the TX are made by Seasonic.

    oh. Well besides that, specs wise, is there any major difference between the two?

    If you can afford it, go for the HX as modularity always comes in handy, also in my opinion the better OEM of the two.

    but besides the HX being modular and manufacturers, what is the difference (specs) between the two?

    they are both spec'd the same for amps and watts.

    ok, thank you! I don't really care much about the HX being modular, I can take care of cable management

    TX650, HX450/520/620/650 are Seasonic
    TX750/850/950, HX750/850/1000 are CWT

    But maybe you want to wait a little for newer AX750/850 Seasonic X based or AX1200 (unknown based).

    is Seasonic better than CWT? Also, when is the AX750/850 expected to come out?
