Thanks... But yeah... Someone really does use this?

I have not burned a single CD in two years...

Ripping is done by foobar. At least a proper FLAC. And... Last time I did a video rip it was from a VHS via USB to S-Video in dongle... And I did it under linux using plain and stock VLC...

Yep, I am the someone... no usb on my vehicles head units.
So, when I update the firmware, Gracenotes, and install stuff to the Hard drives I gotta use CD/DVD.
Old school... at least they ain't floppies.

Some guys just find the aux input for their system and put up some simple small anydevice acting as decoder in their cars. Do it once, and you are free ;D

I have the 2010? Version and a burner...just in case. Especially since drives are cheap, cheap cheap, it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

I remember my father liked this back in the day. I just use isoburn.exe built in to Windows myself.

Free is the best price though.

Never heard of any of the things you accuse them of.

I have used some of Ashampoo's software for many years and it is mostly stable and updated quit often.
This media software is one of the better ones out there.

@fullinfusion <-- They require an email to send you the full key... and you will want to go into the settings and turn off the updates and notifications stuff; however, other than that there is no adware.

yeah especially when my head unit cant read more than 300+ song from usb, but it can read all through dvd
