Hello,
First post here I'm just too frustrated and wondering if someone could help.
I just got a new motherboard the asrock z97 extreme4 with a new cpu and installed it yesterday. I was getting flashes of error on the Mr debug like crazy. Eventually with some fiddling I got it to boot in safe mode and eventually without it. But it wouldn't connect to my network or anything, and still flashed many error codes every restart. So I took the cpu out noticed bent pins and that my ram wasn't supported. So today I traded in the motherboard for a new one and got some new ram that was supported. Now I'm getting a 55 code on the Mr debug and I can't even get to POST. I've tried using each ram slot, checked the cpu, and the couple times it has booted it either doesn't find my ssd, or says my windows isn't genuine. Any advice would help, I'm about to just take it to microcenter and have them fix it, it's starting to not be worth the trouble.
Specs:
Asrock z97 extreme4 mobo
Intel i5 4690k
2- hyperx fury hx316c10f/4 4gb ram
Asus gtx 660 gpu
Corsair 650 psu
250gb Samsung ssd
1 tb hdd
