I have rmaed my Asus Maximus Vii Ranger Z97 and if they can't fix it i might get a new one.

What i would like to know is, how good is the gigabyte fan controller in the bios? (haven't tried yotube but i couldn't find anything using google about how good the gigabyte mb fan controller in the bios is and how low it can go, fixed speed or always as low as any fan can spin)

I know as i had one, asus with fan expert 3 is bencmarking, testing the fan speed and lets the user choose the speed of the case fans from lowest it will run to max, where case fans on my current msi mb can only run at 50% or higher, the nzxt sentry mix 2 i got today can go down to 40%, i really like asus fan expert 3, it should be able to make all fans quiet/silent since fan speed is limited by the fans and not a fixed minimum speed like 40 or 50%

Years ago we had Abit ruling fan control, nowadays it is Asus.
I checked Gigabyte some 2 years ago (pre UEFI era) and it sucked. Don't know if today they have rouned off their fan control....
