NotebookCheck said:Asus will be taking a page off smartphone trade-in programs with its own trade-in program designed for desktop graphics cards. The Taiwanese OEM will take in graphics cards as old as the GeForce GTX 650 from any manufacturer if you plan on purchasing a newer Turing-based graphics card from Asus. The full trade-in details and qualified products are listed here.
The trade-in values for many of the GPUs are actually quite good if you're still rocking a very old model. The GeForce GT 1030, GT 730, or GTX 650, for example, will net you £125 (~$155 USD) towards the purchase of an Asus GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card or better. In comparison, prices on eBay for these same GPUs are often well below $50 USD.
Trade-in values become less lucrative when moving up to higher-end models
Program limited to the UK
Asus will give you $150 to $350 for your old GeForce or AMD graphics card if your next purchase is an Asus
Your old GeForce GTX 750 Ti or GTX 960 graphics card could be worth £125 towards the purchase a brand new GeForce GTX 1650 or GTX 1660 Ti from Asus. Unfortunately, the claim terms will make it a little difficult for many to trade in.
