hi does anny one know where i can download ATi Catalyst Display Driver 7.9??
from ati's website...
Here's a link to previous Linux drivers.
The one listed next to September should be the 7.9 - they number them as year.month.
Edit: Direct link to the driver I think you're after.
Edit2: I think they've only just started using the same numbering scheme for Linux as for Windows, so in theory there is no such thing as a 7.9 Linux Catalyst driver.
ehhh sry! not linux but windows xp 32bit lol
Lol, am I going mad?!
Swear I read Linux, sorry about that
Anyway, KTR's given you the Link. I'm going to go and get my head checked out... or did you say Linux in the original post?
Would mind If I said that it sux with my sapphire X1950XT 256MB?It screwed my VGA.Then put 7.10 over it got ATiI tool screwed, finally 7.11 made it correct :S.BTW try www.9down.com
7.11 keeps crashing here arg so i'm back on 7.9
Weird, 7.9 (and .8's) didn't work for me, but 7.11's work brilliantly - completely stable. D'you have Fast Writes disabled dude?
not sure i think its my ram thats fucking it up again
InnocentCriminal stands for me.Yo should chkit out dude..Do a driver clean and put back 7.11.Chk all others are right.Specially media codecs.I screwed up coz of installing some DivX or XViD or atleast I think so.
when i open 7.11 i get this error 0x0000135
The steps I'd take would be...
1.) Enter your BIOS and make sure, AGP Speed is at 8x (if this option is available).
2.) Disable AGP Fast Writes - this can usually cause conflicts.
3.) Once you've saved and rebooted, when y'back in Windows, uninstall all the ATi driver malarkey and then use the driver cleaner to remove any excess.
5.) Again, once back in Windows, ignore the Hardware Detection windows and double click 7.11's - if it doesn't work after all of that, then go back to the 7.9's.
Are you getting any BSODs as well?
no i dont get bsods i think i buyed bad ram modules i event cant open 3damrk06 and other futuremark crap
i found out what my problem is its my net framework..
what net framework needs ccc? i installed 3.0 now 3dmark06 works
I think all of the modern CCC software requires the .Net framework - you should really read the release notes.
Have you got the 7.11's working yet?
no i need propper framework
Then, err.... why not download the frameworks?
