what do you mean doesnt work in games? please be more specific on what you are needing. and X800 would be great for Halflife 1 engine games but might struggle on source and others. A real good option is to upgrade to a better GPU. ALSO fill in your system specs under userCP.

Buy HD5770 instead. That will work. Or if you're tight on budget, 9500GT.

Your graphics card needs drivers to work properly, not a BIOS. Try installing these: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownlo...px?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.16&lang=English
It says Vista 64, but it works for Windows 7 x64, which you have installed (your graphics card is using the Microsoft drivers, that's why it doesn't work in games)

To play new games you need card compatible with DirectX 9.0c (Pixel Shader 3.0). Your X800 is incompatible with that. Your card is old and you cannot play modern games on it.
