I got a ATI X800XL 256 AGP, and it does not overclock, i used 2 different o/cing programs with the same result of nothing. I can move the slider up and down all day with no affect no heat increase. Nothing. i even made a declock profile to try that and it did nothing also.

Not sure if theres a lock or something on it (i tired searching the forums) so flame if i missed :D
Any help would be great thanks.

When you run ATITool (I can't check for sure since I'm at work) there should be a checkbox somewhere called "apply clocks immediately after moving slider" if you check that off it may fix your problem. Also in the settings there's a "lock reference divider" checkbox and try hitting that one too.

There maybe an OC unlock function for your card inside of ATITool, or it could possibly be a hardware lock, which is usually solved by 3rd party drivers. Do a google search . . .
