We bought 20 sets of Crucial 8GB (CT2KIT51264BA1339) kits recently. About 3/4th of the kits are defective out of the package. 1 stick will show up as a 4GB 1333MHz. The other stick will show up as a 2GB 1600MHz. If you put the stick that shows up as 2GB in aboard by itself it won't POST. I've called Crucial and PMed the mods on their forum but so far no one has heard about a bad batch yet. I've sold some to my customers and they brought them back with the same problem. We've tried it on several different boards with the same results. Both the good and bad sticks have the same batch number, BG112QV.3Q, and the same chips on the DIMM. Has anyone else run into any bad batches of Crucial recently?
