interesting read still on my palit 9600gt and it's doing adequate for it's age. I'll wait for fermi to come out to see about a new gpu, the way it's looking I'll go for whomeevr has the best card at the 200$ pricepoint. With all me bills these days the highend is out of my reach.

    That is some interesting reading.

I think i'll stick my my 9800gt for the time being. I can still play most games at 1680x1050, some even with AA and some eye candy turned on.

Aww, come on.. upgrade now!! Just kidding.. the GT300 series is only about 2 months away from now, so that would be a great time to start upgrading.. at least that is what I plan on doing. It's rather disappointing that NV stopped producing high-end 55nm GPU's for Fall/Winter 2009, with the result that the prices are higher now than they were 8+ months ago!

Merry, merry Christmas dear TPU readers! :pimp:

If anybody still thinks that this thread is useful, let me know with a bump!

I'll be making a new thread like this one once the GT300 is released! :rockout:

Ha hahaha, you're right! But sometimes there are great deals on the FS forums for a GTX 275 or GTX 280 for only like $170 to $180, which is still a good buy!
