im struggling to get online atm... after the latest update I got online and didn't like the server..

tried to change server and the problems started..

it looks like this server side patch has caused some instability with some servers crashing after each round.... others last a couple of hours....

erocker what are your most common crashes still? audio? I did finally get one again last night after moving to 8. On Shanghai though; some maps do at least seem less stable/more buggy. I have yet to crash on Hainan I am pretty sure.

Not gonna complain about a full week of DXP I guess and there is an upcoming patch addressing the most major issues.

My crashes have went down a ton, most are just the red box that shows up in Battlelog saying I got disconnected. I haven't gotten the audio loop hard crash in quite sometime. Well, I will now that I said I haven't. That's what happened to erocker night before last while he was singing the praises of a game that was finally coming into its own. The sentence was barely out of his mouth and BAM - crashed out of the server.

Random CTD's. Sometimes I won't get one for hours. Sometimes I'll get a bunch. It really seems to depend on what server I'm on.

The Hotal map and the Dam are the 2 have the audio bug on and the Dam I have black screened a couple of times.

I sure wish Origin would have extended its 50% sale to include Premium, as well. That's a real bummer, if not a direct kick in the knards to those of us who have already shelled out our cash to buy the main game.

meh, i bought bf the day of release and premium the day after for full price. I feel i got my $$$ worth regardless of if it were full price or not

I never crashed in-match before, only between map transition and very RARELY. Now with the recent patches I crash on transition often now and sometimes even during a match. WTF DICE

Yeah. At first I was thinking they didn't do it to not "kick" those who paid full for Premium...but you have a point re. those who paid full price for base game. Also maybe cause most justify buying Premium do so for the expansions and they don't want to put those on sale before the first is even out. Wish they had though; woulda bought it. Probably for as much as $40 even.

The last game I was in yesterday, Siege of Shanghai Rush I saw 2 guys jump out of a chopper land in the water and float like Jesus walking on water right up onto the road and kill me. It took them about a half a second to cover the distance. I called them on it and then they kicked me. Or maybe it was the 4 letter words.

HAH!.

There used to be (or still is) a glitch in BF3 Metro long time after the release where the Russian side could use it to fall right in the American base and I died so many times and complained, complained and complained (after I knew what was happening) but instead I got a warning for my language and what not but after a while some other players started saying the same thing and then ALL THE METRO SERVERS I SAW had a warning in their messages to not use this glitch.

Same here.

I found one thing that may actually work as I haven't had any crashes since (though I haven't played much). Right click the game in Origin, go to "game properties", then make sure it's set on x64.
