Heatware does not exist outside of the american continent and me and a lot of other people might have sold a lot of items on TPU...
Heatware is completely unknown anywhere else and i personally have never heard of it except on TPU. (there are not even google results except the website itself)

i'd like to sell some things here but i'll never be able to due to the Forum Rules.

Heatware is a website for the US/CA Market.
what am i supposed to do there?
selling stuff in dollar for the US market and ship it to an american buyer?
there are literally four products for the whole "computer systems and parts" category.
not a single one outside of the US.

that does not make any sense for someone outside of the US.

It's up to you if you want to sell globally or not. Heatware is literally just for reviews and feedback.

Cool... that does not change the fact that this website is completely useless for a Person outside of the US.
and since the planet is not just the USA.. what about implementing some more ways to "verify" yourself with reviews except a basically dead platform for americans.
i don't sell a CPU in the USA and ship it around the Planet! to maybe get a single review from one random person.
that's beyond stupid.. sorry.

You're missing the point. Just because it's based in the US doesn't mean it's ONLY North America that can use it. Anyone can use it. The only purpose it has is buyer/seller feedback. I'll happily buy from the UK, Russia, Australia, anywhere if they have good feedback.

You're only limited as you are by choice.

It’s literally used by about 30 websites that are you know, on the internet, worldwide, as a means of reporting good and bad sellers and buyers.

I really find it hard to believe that Heatware only exists for North America since over half our members are not from North America. And yet many use the Buy/Sell/Trade forum to buy and sell. I haven’t seen anyone else complain about the Heatware requirement.

Finally, if really concerned about the requirement, you might be interested to know the site owner and Administrator is German. GLWT.

That is not true! Heatware has a marketplace put into place:

However, the marketplace isn't active much.

If it was a decent size, I'd include the marketplace in there. Seems like no one really uses it and sticks to forums.

It's also used in the hardware trading section of Reddit, so not exactly a dead platform...
