Hey all, I need some software to burn dvd's. I want something that' s free, since I don't do this often, just occasionally. Anyone have any good ideas?

I'm completely clueless on this type of thing so I appreciate any help :rockout:

    IMGBurn
    InfraRecorder
Ashampoo 6.x whatever the free one is.

IMGBurn can do a lot of stuff and is arguably the "best," but the interface isn't exactly easy to follow, and most people don't need all the little extra stuff it can do anyway. I'd recommend giving that free version of Ashampoo a try. I find myself coming back to that one more and more.

The oem ver of nero 7 isnt too bad if all your doing is just dvds & music- almost anyone that has ever bought a cd or dvd rom had one come with it

needs no activation, and dont throw a lot of "BUYNOW" nag screens

Ashampoo free burning studio 6 is free, lightweight (16MB) and very easy to use.

one would assume that a common sense solution is an all in one program. Unfortunately this bit of intelligence is not shared by any of the programmers.
