Please fill out your system specs in your User CP, makes it easier to tell whats wrong :)

Aside from that, what power supply do you have? And did you remove the old drivers and update to new ones?

A mobo with that processor will not have a pci-e slot...

(Or perhaps you were exagerating on purpose?)

If you've just filled out your specs, we cant see them, You'll need to go back to that same page and look for a drop down box saying show your system specs. Make sure it says yes. ;)

Okay based on your system specs, i would say you are getting bottlenecked by your CPU. :ohwell:
The fact that the card is running at PCI-E 8x, doesnt help things, but it wont make a great difference.

its seems to me that its CPU. Everything else in your system looks good. but CPU is defo the weakest point.

In a state of flux...
OC the hell outta your AMD, I highly doubt its much of a bottleneck.

Can also try reseating the card too, may help as I've had one do the same thing because the slot was dirty from the old card, give it a go!

Actually a single video card running at x8 instead of x16 makes a big difference as opposed to say a SLi configuration at 2 x8. You need to set the option in your bios to run the card at x16 or the card is in the wrong slot. I suggest you do this first before wasting your money.

If anyone has a MSI K9N SLi mobo, please let us know how to properly set up the cards in the bios. Thanks.:)

* @airways, the card is in the first white pci-e slot right?

do not overclock your cpu. nothing is wrong with it. thats not why your performance is so poor

what resolution are you running at?

also, put the card in the first slot. if you can't return it for a single slot card. something from ATI

also, you can only overclock that 6000+ to run about 9% faster. thats why i say don't bother. trying to get more performance out of a 6000+ is like trying to get blood from a stone. the AMDX2 chips only go so high, and the 6000+ is almost at the limit as is

i had a 9800GTX in my system for a brief two days. ran every game flawlessly with good fps

how was the computer doing with your old card?

Also to add, check your HT bus. If it's too low it could cause major bottlenecking. But everything else was covered so I won't reiterate. :) Have fun and welcome to TPU!
