First I want to wish anyone looking at this thread a very Merry Christmas:toast:

Secondly I was bored today, waiting for the kids and grand kids to get here so I figured "what the hell" and I took the 2tb Elements enclosure apart just to see if it in fact had a Black drive in it..........Well this is my finding:laugh:

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now for anyone wondering if this will void the warranty; there is no seam tape across the

bottom of this enclosure, so I am not so sure WD could even detect the enclosure being

opened up. It is held together with just some internal clips, and if you take a simple pocket

knife and insert in the seam it will pop right open. Once opened up just simply lift at the

back side of the drive (there are rubber deals on the drive) and it will pop right out:rockout:

Did you happen to write the serial number off the drive and check it here?

I found my package today at 1AM when I went out to my garage I found it in front of my car tire dunno why the USPS Man would put it there.

I haven't tested it yet, but it looks good and I have taken it apart, can't wait till I get more time. Thanks Cyberkost you did a great job on the packaging.

Clearly, the USPS man wanted you to run over the package ;)
I'm glad it did not happen.
Happy New Year!!
