I have this unit here...and absolutely love the darn thing.

I could probably scout around and find a comparable unit a little faster if I searched...probably a higher end i3 or a lower end i5...but the frame and keyboard of this unit would make up for a few percentage increase in speed. This little notebook rocks. Period. End.

I actually went to Wal-Mart to check it out before purchase....I wrapped on the palmrests and the cover hard enough to about bust a knuckle(several times)...tough as nails.

Biggest pro is that it idles at 30 degrees celsius even when the fan is in passive mode...and it's dead silent. Regular browsing/e-mails etc use about 12-14w...and I'm getting about 6-7 hours on the battery.

With an SSD and upgrading the memory to 8gb(DDR3-1600) this thing runs very well. No problem running Borderlands 2, I'd compare it to my i5-3210 w/HD 4000 graphics.

Best,

Liquid Cool
