Hi everybody :)

First of all I want to apologize for my poor english because I am French and English inevitably it's not my main language (shame you tell me) but I just still on your site for one simple reason is I love this site and your colleagues Guru3D short, I will not tell my life xD

I wanted to ask you something, I intend to soon buy a new graphics card and I would eventually make a Crossfire yet I unable to calculate the exact power that will take me to the power supply, so I would like to know power you will advise me ? :)

To know that my processor is overclocked to 4.2GHz and occasionally he goes up to 5.0GHz for benchmark

Just in case, here is my config:
AMD FX-8320E
Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z
16GB 2400MHz DDR
SSHD 1to 2.5 "
SuperFlower SF-650WF14MG (to be changed)

your PSU is good enough for a single 390 or a single fury x. if you want cross fire you will need to step up to an 850W PSU or 1000W if you plan on OCing the cards.

You know, I suggest getting a 1kW PSU. Some will say this is overkill but this GPU can get very hungry. (I know, I have one!) Needless to say, at full tilt, my machine will now eat 550 watts overclocked which is almost the same as when I was running two 6870s fully OC'ed, so it's a hungry GPU. I can see you eating up 750-850 watts to run two in CFX, so that is why I suggest a 1kW PSU if you intend to run two of them The PSU you have now *should* be enough to drive one of them, however, it depends on how much power the CPU sucks down when overclocked; it could be close and if you plan on overclocking the 390 or not.

I'd recommend getting a 1000W PSU for that setup specially if you plan on doing some overclocking.

EVGA G2 / P2, Corsair, Antec & Seasonic for the most part make good high end PSU units.

Avoid Corsair RM series PSUs.

it looks to me that you know what you are doing when this processor goes up to 5,0 when benching-so yeah what peeps suggest 1000 gets you everywhere with room to get even higher.
