I have in my possession an unopened, factory sealed Cooler Master UCP 900W (RS-900-AAAA-A3) enthusiast-grade ATX power supply that I'm looking to sell.
[<font]This particular UCP 900W (RS-900-AAAA-A3) power supply was awarded to me by Cooler Master during the August 2010 CM Focus Group at the company's headquarters in Chino Hills, California. This power supply has never been opened and was awarded to us straight from the manufacturing line.
[<font]The Cooler Master UCP (Ultimate Circuit Protection) series power supplies has a list of great features. The list starts with four +12V rails with a combined power delivery of up to 852W, and continues with features like an "80 PLUS Silver" 88% efficiency rating, the world's first intelligent soft-start circuit to limit inrush current and prolong the life of the unit, and a maximum output capacity of up to 1080W.
[<font]The UCP 900W power supply has a large assortment of cables and connectors, which are all hard-wired into the main chassis. The cables are covered with black, braided plastic mesh sleeving all the way to the end connectors and measure approximately 24” to 30” long.
[<font]The unit produces good load regulation on most of the outputs across a broad range of loads. The +12V and +5V rails are the best, staying within +/-3% of the nominal voltage instead of the recommended +/-5%.
All in all, the CoolerMaster UCP 900W is a real workhorse. It's overall voltage regulation, line regulation and cross-loading regulation are all good. The overall efficiency is excellent and AC ripple noise suppression is good, especially on the +12V outputs. Under normal operating conditions (below 600W load) the unit is very quiet. Nevertheless, the Cooler Master UCP 900W comes fitted with a large assortment of hard-wired cables and connectors that can easily run multiple high-end video cards.
Asking Price: $120 with free shipping (US-48 only)
Thanks for looking \m/
