Counter-Strike GO Beta code anyone?

If you want it, write an amusing anecdote or story about a counter-strike game you were in (I'll also take TFC/TF2 and maybe even quake/unreal/l4d, any competitive multiplayer game really) and I'll gift it to your steam account.

I would love to try it. I have played CS since the first beta and have had HL since 1999 when it was released.

We usta run around custom servers with knife only listening to "what is love! BABY DON'T HURT ME! NO MORE!"

It was during a round of Team fortress 2.
was playing pub on a server, filled with new players.
Everyone one was having fun,
when suddenly this Heavy gets a drop of a buffalo steak sandwich.
almost immediately, Some scout makes witty comment about him.
But Except this was no ordinary steak sandwich, not only did the Heavy call his sandwich Betty,
he also claimed to have brought A1 steak sauce.
Needless to say, after we discovered he had A1, our balls detached, and manly chest and facial hair shriveled.
The heavy proceeded steam rolled us all, mauled us with his 2nd amendments.

tl;dr: Heavy eats some seriously good steak. With his steak ,Betty, in hand, he proceeds to maul everyone on the server.

Game: Team Fortress 2

Playing a game of payload on goldrush as the defending team. Myself playing as that shape shifting rat the Spy.

We are at the first part of the map and I arrange myself up on the ledge at the far left looking toward the blue spawn. In my possession is the Eternal Reward, Familiar Fez, and Revolver. The round starts and I wait about ohhh 45 seconds to let the other team come out.

It is just choice, pure utter choice to see a pair of Heavy/Medic combos, a soldier, and a demo all pushing the cart. Now in my head I'm just seeing the backstab, visualizing it. I wait for the perfect opportunity and jump down. I get not only the demo and soldier but both pairs of Heavy/Medic. You hear the alltalk erupt. "WTF was that? I didn't see anything. That's bullshit!" "You know that spy... right behind you, stabbed the other 4 guys before you and didn't see it. Yeah... check for those."

I mean i'm sitting right on top of the cart here just taunting and laughing my ass off at this. I am dying. Then in my moment of glory, mumbles comes over the hill and roasts my ass. Not just roasts me but makes a display... air burst, flare gun, and then hits me with the Axetinguisher as I am coming down. Really... you gloat a little bit and then get it rubbed right back at ya.

So two things, I learned not to gloat til the end of the round. Also, as a spy, it is more important to know where the pyro(s) is(are) so as to properly ensure pwnage.

I remember playing CSS when it first came out. Not CS, but source. I had the old E-Machines with the shitty 64-MB GPU card. I was wondering why I couldn't max out my settings on my CRT monitor, so I later researched it on a pre-google search engine and fount out I needed a better GPU. Then I upgraded to a HP Desktop with 128-MB ATI 9800 Graphics seprate. This was the first time I actually opened up a case by myself without any help and installed it. Yea, I know it doesn't take a lot of head work to do, but I was about 17 at the time. This essentially turned me into a fan of GPUs and I haven't looked back since then ...this was back in 2003 and the 64-MB was back in 2002 or 2001.

I'll be one of the few to actually post a game story. Since I can think of very few actually amusing stories... I will tell the top two I can think of right now. I have one good story about an AI glitch in stalker chernobyl but that isn't competitive.

At my buddies house we were playing COD4. I am not a fan, and am horrible with game controllers but I played for fun. It was all of us against each other or something out of the three of us there. I thought I was going to do terrible but I did pretty good in an unexpected way. I would throw grenades out in the open to try and lure them to that direction while I hid (they don't know that trick oddly). Almost every time I did one of them would walk right over my grenade at that point. Strait luck because I had no idea they were coming. I had several suicide kills because there was this ledge I liked to hide on that they never found me on... I had ran out of ammo... I just jumped down from the ledge while firing my grenade launcher. Did this three times without them realizing I was there. They were both supposedly good players. I wasn't so sure afterwords.

In the game alliance of valiant arms (AVA).
I sometimes like to play on the euro server because they play different. Use different strategies and stuff. I am used to fast play and the Europeans are a little more slow and steady. In the scorpion map I would run to their spawn first thing. Kill the team and run away. I kept doing this but each time not going as far. So I would run to a point a little further and do it again. After the 3rd time they realized I was doing this so they were expecting me. So somehow I snuck behind them and just kept hiding and shooting them with a silenced gun so they couldn't see where it was coming from. I got so many kills. I think I played against a bad team because I have yet to be able to do that again. It was fun

honestly id love it i use to play css all the time in cevo and cal, gungame all of it played it for since it was released and a bit of 1.6 it was always lots of fun pissing people off with the ump getting random headshots cuz they didnt have helmets yet and rock there socks off. or just awp the shit out of everyone and them saying your an awp noob gotta love pubs in that game
