Crossfire broke after OMEGA driver install

I've just re-installed omega drivers through save mode using DDUS and after 4 tries CCC finally installed without warning signs. Just like the title states, my crossfire is broken after installing omega.

normally I'd just revert back to older drivers, but the omega drivers claim improved performance in far cry 4. So far I've received zero performance and I'm nearing my wits end with these drives.

After searching high and low on forums it seems that omega is either installing for people, not installing or not installing for people. I've yet to find a post about crossfire braking after the update.

any help would be great.

We need system specs- power supply, motherboard/cpu, gpus, ssd/hdd, operating system.

Ddu is the problem. Only way I found to fix the issue was to install an older driver.. Like 13.11

Just use the add/remove feature to remove the driver. DDU is a nasty program IMHO and just causes problems.

I would suggest uninstalling your older drivers using the regular uninstall function in the Control Panel, restarting, then use the older DriverSweeper 3.2.0 (AMD and NVIDIA video drivers only) to clear out any leftover files, restart again, then re-installing 14.12.

DDU is only to be used as a last resort when you are having issues its never to be run before re-installing or upgrading
'driver uninstallers" are strong voodoo if not handled with care you will brake your system

Look, so i finally got the drivers installed, and then my device managers shows a yellow triangle on one of my cards. So what i did was i uninstalled it through device managers and shut down my computer. during shut down i detached the xfire cable and then booted. the card auto installed itself and applied the new drivers.

That was awesome so I re attached the cable and enabled crossfire. it worked! so i thought.
I load up GPUZ and both cards are registering and that's great.
I load up far cry 4 and the second GPU registers as zero usage,
I so i thought to boot up MSI after burner and select the second GPU and then burner crashed and the second GPU stops and then gpuz reports Zero on the second gpu before failing too.

the system locks up and boom. nothing to do but restart, not once, but twice. after the first restart i get back to the desk top, sort of. every 1 minute or so the screen gets a transparent white and then back to the wall paper and nothing else loads. second restart i disconnected the xfire cable and windows loads fine.

My crossfire works with the previous version of the drivers, but omega fails hard core. I don't get it. I've done clean installs....like 5 different versions of clean in stalls all involving registry wipes.

I have three 7950's and i'm only using two. i can't fathom how hard it would be to get three going at once.

Does anyone else have these issues?
