LOL, they should have a free-scales mode in GH4 where you can just jam out on the pentatonic scale. :toast:

They should release that (but have all 6 strings!) and have it come with a GH: Jam Session CD. I'd buy that.

It looks impossible to hold. But at least you can throw it and turn the PS3 on without having to leave the couch:rockout:.

Please no more talk about Crysis for PS3 or 360 it will not happen and unless there is offical word I will continue to say this.

Here what I posted to GameSpot recently to shut people up about this topic.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For all those people who think they 'knew' that Crysis is coming to 360 or PS3 think again.

I've been around countless web sites over the past few days and heres what I've found, most web sites say either say 360 version or PS3 version of Crysis coming in a year... this is not so for most web sites say "Crysis coming to 360 but not PS3" and "Crysis coming to PS3 but not 360" then these web sites go on to say why it wont be out on one system they just say "Because of hardware performance" then they all also say "The version of Crysis will have extened content over the current PC version of the game".

What people fail to see is Crysis will not come out on either. So say theres 100 web sites 50 it will only come out on the 360 and the other 50 say the PS3, I'd say there all just bull s**ting because theres no offical word.

Crysis is always possible on a console. If they optimize it. If they do relese a console version im sure it will probably run better then most peoples PC's(Because Crysis on PC is very unoptimized) Even peole with a 8800 Ultra can barly hold 40 FPS. But on a console if they really use the hardware it should run smoothly on 30 or 60 FPS. But the GFX will look bad on the console tho. But if you want to got every texture and graphical detail the PC version is the best. But in order to see the best Crysis can offer on a PC we will have to wait for future hardware. Maybe the 9800 GX2(Yorkfield does run it smooth but who has $1400 to spend on a CPU?:twitch:). Overall the console version is great for the people who don't have a great PC. But if you really want to experience Crysis you need to get a PC and wait for some great hardware to come out that actually can run the game at full potential. This is IMO.

The thing I think you need to understand is that graphics don't make a game. Crysis proves it to itself. Many many people think that the Crysis game itself isn't all that great after you get past the shock and awe graphics. This being said, Crysis coming to the console is going to give players a chance to see if the game is an awesome game or isn't an awesome game. IMO, it's going to be pretty damn close to the PS3 graphics but the game itself isn't going to excite that many PS3 players. Mainly because Crysis is going to have to compete with the PS3 big dog FPSs like: Resistance 2, Killzone 2, Haze, and Metal Gear Solid (with the news that MGS can be played in FP throughout the entire game). Battlefield: Bad Company is another big one...I think this is going to give Crysis a chance to really prove itself as a game.

I haven't really been impressed with any FPS gameplay since Thief back in '98 and Thief II in '00.

FEAR brought some great AI to the table when it was released - but once you figured out the limitation of the AI, the game became extremelly boring and predictable.

Crysis brought some neat features, and some amazing graphics - but gameplay allowed one to become to comfortable in a routine. MP was horribly out of balance for any real fun.

TBH - even if Crysis was ported, I don't ever see it doing anywhere near as well as it has on PC; and the only reason it was even moderately successful on PC was due to all the hype behind it, IMHO.

I'd just get it on computer, mainly because when I get a PS3, my LCD monitor doesn't have HDCP so I would have to use it on my 51cm CRT (which isn't that bad by the way, :))

But with Crysis you are barley able to experience the gameplay with out have the greatest system of all time. You can play it on low but that defeats the whole purpose of Crysis, and just turns into just another FPS. If you don't have the hardware it will just be like any other ugly looking FPS.

Your not wrong there if Crysis were a human it would be in jail now so inhumane is its treatment of pc hardware.

The point is, I can play the ugliest game in the world but if it's FUN that's all I'll care about.
