Yeah well...what constitutes "ugliest" and "taste" is wholly subjective but I have to side with xenocide on this one.

I'd suggest getting a better PSU. Somewhere around the 800w mark.

Tell us a little more about your desire to "save power". What exactly do you mean by that? How far are you willing to go with that desire?

Yes my old setup used a 750w continuous and btw it was a m3a79t deluxe ;)
But that damn 4870x2 was like 350w or more at full load...too high. The system I have in mind should be around 450-500w at load (correct me if I'm wrong" my math may not be correct and btw that's with a 6950

Close enough, only major difference was ddr3/ddr2. My bad. 450-500W load!? Jeez man that would be like 2x 7950's & a 2500k all at stock.

be sure to get the NH-D14 over that other noctua. My buddy has that one and cant get past a 3.9ghz overclock with his phenom 2 due to heat issues, meanwhile, my NH-D14 can handle a 4.8ghz overclock fine.

And popcorn dude, seriously, that case is fugly....

Don't get the G.Skill mem, I have the RipJawX 1333MHZ CL7 1.5v set but it overclocks poorly, over 1600MHZ 9-9-9-27 1.65v not stable.
