Divinity:original sin problem

Maybe u can help me.
I want to play coop in game so I clicking join option in game to join some existing player,but whenever I click connect it pops out screen Connecting... and this were nothing happens later on(waited for over 5mins nothing happens shows connecting all the time) with game music active but I cant click CANCEL to cancel connection nor I cant quit the game without forcing it with task manager.
But other players can join me strange.
I dont use antivirus nor firewall is blocking any connections in connection with divinity.

I literally just started playing the game, and I'm finding it quite hard. One of my characters died, and the only way to resurrect was to run back into the battle that I was too low level for and try to resurrect him, only to get 2 shotted before I could pop a resurrection scroll...

All in all I really like the game, but it seems remarkably hard to get anywhere within a suitable level range...

I like game aswell, but really looking forward to play with someone from start till end.questing is bit a pain u can easily get lost on the map takes time to find objectives

There's a knight and a mage/healer in the town, maybe I should have employed them as followers before I went questing underneath the graveyard!
The game reminds me of the original Neverwinter Nights, where followers were practically a requirement! Hit me up on steam if you fancy playing coop.

I have all my ports forwarded, firewall disabled (and allowed the game IN/OUT before I shut it off >< ) but I get the same connecting issue when joining anyone's game, and my roomate who is on our network also can't connect to me or anyone else, but other people seem to be able to join us just fine.

My game does show up for him in the public list when I set to public, but again, connecting into eternity how Jaffakeik described.

Port forwarding isn't usually an issue for me. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Yes it still dont work,and i dont understand why I can't cancel connecting screen,but need to Force close game strange only thing that works after pressing to join someone is mouse and music,I dont think its port related issue(never ever had any prot issues to any of the games),because obviously others probably can cancel.ANyways I did report it to issue forum will see if they will fix it or whatever. Yeah I'm in the same boat as you, waiting until a patch fixes it or something? I really don't understand why it's acting up like this.

Atlast, they fixed my issue with connecting.NOw everything works I can connect to anyone and even can push cancel button to cancel connection

Strange today tried to play game.And it got same problem again something fishy is going on.

Yeah, my friend and I got in about 9 hours of play on 2 plays because our save wouldn't work, now nothing works again. Weee
