To start, my dell keyboard is the default USB keyboard that came with the current Dell Dimension 1100 I'm on since 2005 and stopped since 2007 or 2008 when I thought it broke but upon bringing it back for reexamination, I figured out the problem and I've been using it since last year up until now. My Logitech Optical mouse was bought a time after I got this computer, probably within the last 3 or 4 years.

I saw the Logitech G500 for $43.49 total at Best Buy local pick-up and I was wondering if it's worth siphoning that amount out of my already diminished pint of money ($200 or less because I'm worried about my newer PC's condition :() If I you say I should get it, is it worth that amount for a person who does a mixture of productivity, multimedia, internet, and gaming?

My question is: Should I change my keyboard or mouse? Is the Logitech G500 a good deal at $44 (total) and should I siphon money out of my diminishing wallet?
To throw another question since my mom brought it up, are HP printers or any of their all-in-ones good?

Thanks.

I am not sure what your first question is asking but in regards to the HP all in one printers , I would recomend going with the Kodak AiO (all in one) printer they have several models and the ink for them is superior and way way cheaper..$9.99 for B&W and $17.99 for Color ..Link to consumables>> http://store.kodak.com/store/ekcons...g_Supplies/Ink_Cartridges/categoryID.28896600

Link top the Eastman Kodak Company AiO printers >> http://store.kodak.com/store/ekconsus/en_US/list/All-in-One_Printers/categoryID.28889300
The printers start at $99.99 and go up to $249.99.

The Kodak ink will not fade either as they use pigment! They print bar none the best photo pics on the planet in retail.!

I meant by is my keyboard and mouse sufficient right now? Both are usable but have been with me for 3-5 years and right now I saw the Logitech G500 for $44 total on Best Buy (I don't know about other deals on keyboards and what keyboards are good).

Should I switch my keyboard or mouse? If keyboard, which new one(s) should I consider?
If mouse, is the Logitech G500 good for $44 or should I think about another mouse?

get an OCZ elixir keyboard at under 20$ shipped and taxed and a cheap mouse under 30$ thats good

the kb makes a huge difference for me, and the mouse too, though the mouse is more of me being lefty and needing a perfectly symetrical mouse

lol can't find my keyboard online (the ocz elixir)... guess its that old... dunno which one you should get then, but QUALITY sub 30$ kb and sub 30$ mouses can be found!

So by that, I'm guessing the Logitech G500 isn't worth it at $44?
Yeah, the only keyboard from OCZ is Sabre. To be honest, I don't really need extra keys on my keyboard (the programmable keys) - the current one works quite fine for my purposes (multimedia, entertainment, web, games) except the keys can be kind of noisy and it can be hard to type in the dark.

E: I looked at top sellers on Newegg for keyboards and mice each and also at $10-25 and $25-50, I don't think I found anything.

EE: Hey, you're left handed? Me too! Except that was probably 10 years ago (really young) when I used a mouse with my left hand but preferred a track ball. As time passed, I adapted to using my right hand for the mouse (and as a result, it's more precise than my left hand) but I still write with my left hand.

hehe my sister became half right handed later on too xD but my leftyness is actually a handicap that I got... my mom fell down the stairs when she was pregnant of me and the develepment in the right side of my body was slower than my left part, mostly foot and hand wise though, and arm muscles...

So no matter what I have hard time adapting lol

The keyboard still makes a difference in the sense that it is more comfortable to type. I don't necessaraly type much faster, but I like typing more :p only cost me 15$ the Elixir so I was happy... never reallly used the extra buttons though

mouse wise, look at the Gigabyte offerings... I would say 45$ taxed and shipped would be max you should pay, but try the mice before to see what type you like most. I paid 60 to 70$ for my mouse though xD (rapoo V8) check out the rapoo V3, or V2 (I don't like the look of the V2 though)

Most of Gigabyte's mice are wireless, which may have interference. I prefer to have a wired mouse because I also use a KVM switch, but it's just that at the moment, my other PC is not at home.

Customer satisfaction is kind of low with that mouse...

the reviews tend to be good for this mouse... and remember, everything is a huge upgrade from what you have now
