Drive not recognized !!!

hey guys, today i started my PC and my HD was not recognized !!
i restarted it and then i found that every thing was back to normal !!
what is the meaning of this ?

Core i5 2400
P8P67 Pro
Adata SSD 64GB
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1.5TB that is the one
GTX 275
Cougar 700w PSU

Just going to go out on a limb: Do you have your hdd's connected to the SATAIII ports (the dark blue/white ports)?

Have you updated your BIOS? How about checking for new HDD firmware(s)? ^^

Sata 3 and no i did not update the bios and i do not know any thing about the Firmware

Hi,
Try the master or slave setting , whichever you have it listed as. Don't forget if it is set to master, then make sure it is on the END of the cable and if SLAVE, make sure it is in the middle of the cable.

I thought SATA didn't have master/slave configs.. only mentioned this as he said it was a SATA III drive... Also.. Only time the cable should matter is when you are using cable select.. which I NEVER use if i'm working on a IDE drive.. .. NEVER let the machine decide what is best for it LOL

The master/slave jumpers are irrelevant to SATA drives. Rgearding that, I have had problems myself in the past with some drives not liking anything except cable select.
