So I'm thinking of getting a new video card, the Sapphire X1950PRO 512MB PCI-e GDDR3 (Dual DVI) in fact. The card comes with 2 DVI ports for the monitor.. so I can run dual monitors.. but my question is that can I run a VGA monitor on a DVI port? I think they look a little different, but I'm not sure if it would work. I have a CRT 17' VGA Monitor.. IBM E74 to be exact. Any help would be apprieciated... all I really want to know is if I can run this monitor with the DVI.. thanks :D
