Power consumption, one green LED at idle all the way up to full bars on full consumption, red (or blue if you prefer).

Fiji is a big leap from Hawaii, from 2816 to 4096 SP. I would say that going from a 290x for a FuryX is a good upgrade.

It would be but once you hit 60FPS at 1080p on a 60hz screen any additional FPS is wasted.
