Hi.
I've just bought my first Nvidia card, the GTX280, and I must ask, are these cards as hot as they've told to be?
I have 73 celcius core temperature idle on desktop and when I've tried to play newer or "more demanding" games, such as Crysis with all-high and Mirror's Edge with maxed details, My card pulls out with tops 107 celcius degrees, with the case fully opened and even the window open (I live in Finland and yes, it's cold outside). The stock cooler is screaming at 100%. I have the same problem with Furmark or 3dmark06.
Can anyone relate? I think the temperatures shouldn't be this high.
Thanks in advance as this is my first post here.
