I only had Logitech G1, now G3 and just purchased G502. I prefer wired for zero latency and no fiddling with batteries. Cable doesn't really bother me.

well while i have a G602 i intend to get a G502, not for the same use tho ;) and latency with a 500Hz pol rate is not that much (hell even at 125Hz) also fidling with battery every 2 month or 4 month is minimal :D

I meant signal transmission for wireless which will always add more latency than cord. Plus it's a 2,4GHz and that stuff doesn't work too well around my router or other BT transmitters...

not noticeable anymore on the G700/700s/602 from logitech (and i used wired mouses since long and the latest before that G602 was a G600 ) and i also use a router and BT .... not intereferences and no problems of any sort :D

    "WIRELESS GAMING TECHNOLOGY
    4x faster wireless
The nano receiver communicates wirelessly to both the mouse and over the USB at 500 reports per second. A dedicated USB receiver means the G602 used the entire bandwidth for gaming-grade, low-latency performance. This is four times faster than the fastest Bluetooth mouse. Wireless speed and sophisticated algorithms allows uninterrupted game play with G602."

it almost feels smooth as my G600 (and i tested the G602 too, hence the why i plan to get one )

PS: pol rating of a wired is 1000Hz which translate in 1ms latency most good wireless as the G700/700s goes to 1000Hz (but that drastically reduce the battery duration) the 602 is 125hz (8ms) in endurance mode and 250 (4ms) 500Hz (2ms)
technically at 500 you will feel no difference unless you are able to sense a 1ms difference (which is unlikely possible)

back to the topic, we should rejoice that Jester did choose a G502 over a R.A.T xD (if he really did tho :) )

I had a Razer Mamba, that was expensive (two actually). I personally didn't need the wireless so I instead use my Razor Deathadder. I have one for work and one for home, and also a Diamondback I carry around in my work bag just in case. I love the feel of the Deathadder, I liked the Mamba because it was heavier but as I said never used the wireless.

I used the Logitech G7 for a while back when. I liked it well enough, but not as much as the Razer mice I've used. Honestly wireless mice introduce no extra latency from my experience and I gamed no differently whilst using them.

I've got 3 Logitech G9x mice at the house. First was mine from a beta test, second I bought for Fiancee when she saw mine. Bought the third as a CoD model on sale for backup.

I'm a little late to this mouse party, but I don't really care for the RAT mice. I had a RAT7 for a long time, and it never really felt great in the hand. Despite the customability of it, I couldn't get a great feel.

I also used the RAT9 for a little while when I picked up a used for my brother, and it's the same thing, didn't really like it. I just used it a few days ago again, and it lacks.

I can't believe the prices in the OP links! stupid crazy imo

Despite the hate on Razer, I love my Mamba mouse, super comfortable. I can't say it's worth the retail price, but it's a nice mouse.

Just got the Logitech G502 and i'm already loving it. Holds really well, the cold metallic wheel feels insanely chunky and you can tweak it in ways i never though it's even possible.

Why i can't designate G7 and G8 buttons as "Generic" buttons like i could on G3. They can either have Generic action which gives them DPI up/down and if i unassign them, they do nothing at all (game doesn't even detect them). I don't want that, i want to use them for in-game functions.

add as a custom key in LGS. bind to the same one the in-game one is bound to.

for example if it's R key in game then you'd bind the R key to that button in LGS. No game profile needed.

Ok, so i have to actually assign a keyboard key to a mouse button to do that. Kinda not cool, but i get it.

I have both of these mice and I use my Mamba wired. Maybe the newer one isn't the same, but the version I have can be both wired and wireless.

I love the G502. My only complaint is the forward and back button are kinda close to my thumb. I really like the sniper button though. I use it all the time now. Not just for sniping. I suck at sniping anyway

I got mappings for everything on mine... even Jriver and MP3tag. Makes it sooo easy to make my playlists as well.
