External HDD Not Working Help!

Hey guys i recently backed up all my files on my CM X-Craft 250 2.5 External HDD and it was working fine. My cm drive gets the following error. BTW it was already formatted and partioned my backups are all on it so i cant reformat. I think its my enclosure because the plastic clip at the front has snapped but it was working fine since i reformatted yesterday?

Can you take the drive out of the case and hook it up to you pc? If its the case then you should be able to recover your files off of it that way
