Fan speed on asus RIVE

so I just got this motherboard..tried to connect my antec truequiet 120mm but it seems like I can not adjust the speed..the antec and 3pins and mobo has all the 4pins socket..tried fan Xpert but not working so great

or do i need like a 3pins-4pins converter ?

I couldn't manage to set up the speed of my 3-pin fans when they were plugged on the CPU fan header (on ROG Gene IV), but plugging them onto the chassis fan connectors on the mobo allowed me to set them at the speed I wanted using fan Xpert. Can't understand why CPU fan header isn't able to work with voltage changes but ok w/e. FYI using Corsair SP120 and Noiseblockers 140mm
