I know its crazy and I'm a noob here but is it possible to flash the vga bios of Sapphire HD 7750/7770 to the entry level card HD 7730 to unlock its shaders? As far as I know they both have the same chipset which is the CAPE VERDE.

you must mean 7730 to 7750/7770 and the answer to your question is no, unlocking shaders is not possible on that card or any recent card k.

Why is it so? I mean, is the HD 7730 being hardware lock or something like that. I have seen diagram of cape verde architecture and found that some of its part are disabled thats why its shaders count decreases. I just need to know if its possible to enable those disabled parts by flashing the vga bios of HD 7750 to 7730. Maybe its lock only in the bios level.

It's not a software block, connections are physically laser cut. AMD learned their lesson with the 6950 (you could actually unlock those with a bios flash).

I suppose flashing the bios won't affect the cards (meaning, they'll still work) but won't have access to the cut CUs.

Thank you sir for the information. I was planning to do the flash but I think its not worthy now.
