I have the new sapphire nitro fury and I just wanted to see what would happen if I flashed the _3840 bios on to my card, it did nothing at all but my backup got deleted, would this bios cause issues with my gpu at all?

Can't be that it did nothing at all. Normally it activates the deactivated shaders and if it works it works, if not you get problems. Or maybe they laser cut the chips now and it's not possible anymore to unlock it. I would first flash the stock bios on both bioses and then try the other 3840 bios on it, or don't touch it anymore, your choice. But get it back to stock first.

I don't have the stock bios anymore and TPU doesn't have one yet for my card, but it rebooted and didn't do anything at all honestly, I was just wondering if there may be a problem that could occur

Benchmark Scores Faster than yours... I'd bet on it. :)
Maybe...

Test your card and find out.

Did you not save your BIOS before flashing?!! :twitch:

Best procedure for Back up is

KEEP A COPY OR MORE THAN ONE COPY ON DIFFERENT MEDIA IN SAFE SECURE PLACES

Not only does this apply to back upped firmware such as bios (both Video and Mainboard )
but for all your important files and Documents

It works fine, lasering off the additonal CU's seems to have kept the card from being silly, 1135 on the core and 550 on the memory is incredibly stable, no problems at all.

You've tried other bioses and it still stayed with 3584 shaders? What a shame then. Was somewhat cool unlocking these cards. Btw. I think it's because you got the new Nitro.

Yeah, it being the newest fury I thought they might have lasered them, I thought about trying to swap it for the strix but I doubt theyd let me, or if it's even worth it

Well even if you would be so lucky unlocking all 4096 shaders, it would only be 10-15% faster at best (maximum utilization that is, so rather unlikely). Because the Nitro has the same clock as the Fury X. 1135/550 on the other hand is nice enough. I wouldn't change the card, the Nitro has a better cooler than Tri-X.
