I am having great difficulties with AutoCad 2013 as I cannot even find the georeferencing tool. Where is that located and can anyone help me on how to georeference?

Georeferencing a CAD file??

I did not know AutoCAD could do georeferencing on its own. I thought a shape file from vector-based or image from raster-based GIS had to be imported and the CAD file overlaid on it  Of course, it has been a little while since I was a GIS Tech!
