Now that this card has been out for sale for a little month now. I cant be the only one with this card.

I am curious to what do people experience of temperature when the card is on full til. Meaning it hits its power limit and not just running on lower power consumption.

My card a Stock full tilt goes up to 80 c. Where it sits in my case, does not have the best air flow and that impact temperature negative. Just opening the side window on the case can lower temp by up to 8 C. Down to 72 C. But i have seen people reported temp as low as 65 C

I have lower temp significantly by undervolt the card to 0.950 mv and locked gpu clock to 2750 MHz. Lower temp, more stabile gpu clock and over all better performance as the gpu does not down clock as it does not hit power limit after i undervolt

So those who might have this card, would you share your temp?

There are 2 versions, Gaming and Windforce (3 and 2 fans). Which one is yours?

I don't have the card but may get Windforce one, which the review indeed reports high temp/noise. What is your temps with undervolt?

It is none of these cards i am refere to. It is this card: https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N4060OC-8GL#kf

I all ready have it as well and was curious what other with this card had as temp.

With under volt i go from 80 C down to 72C with out losing performance.

My bad, just realized there are 7 variations of this card from Gigabyte.
Yeah 7 alone from gigabyte. The other out there like Asus or msi. Can have just as many models of.

This review has some results

on asus 4060 dual oc not LP
I'm around 3 ghz real @1,1v...
I still have some stability problems when path-tracing, dlss, and frame generation (cp2077) are active at the same time.
temps are 75° worst case when the fan delays to start 80°.

Thanks. So even in a open test bench, it hits up to 76 C. So my card hitting 80 C in a closed case with no direct airflow seems to be what i can expect from it.

If you would like to see my temps I have some recorded here in the thread noted below. Due to my case limitations I had to deshroud and use noctua 80mm fans instead in an obsolete case design.

try with undervolt, on 1660 super mini (125w) I reduced temps by 13-14° while maintaining similar performance. some GPUs actually lack heatsink surface in relation to the power to be dissipated, it's not just a question of air flow.

That's not only you. These features combined are metastable by default. The fact the game is playable for you on a lowest-end GPU is already a heap of good news.

I had stabilized it by slowing down ofa and crossbar, but now I have returned gpu to the owner.
I also lowered the frequencies/voltage a bit
