I like Windows 10 but lately when i get up in the morning and head to my PC i find a blank Screen and hitting the Keyboard doesn't do anything. I have to hit the restart button on my Case. Now i've done enough threads here about my Plex Server issues but being my Main PC? O NO... I'm almost done here sadly!

Come back to Windows 7 you will be glad you did. I don't see any point going or staying on Windows 10 when 7 does everting you need it to do and stable.

It sounds like an unstable overclock... But I doubt it is in your case. Still, windows 10 is known to be more agressive on power saving, making overclocks cry out wheras before they were stable.

The OS itself is stable, but some of the drivers it chooses on it's own are... iffy.

If it bugs you that much and you don't have the skill to find out where Windows 10 is going wrong, just drop back and quit waiting for the next BSOD. In my extensive experience, if you don't find the culprit, one bluescreen will not just go away, but repeat itself in due time.

Most likely, the computer wants to go to sleep or hibernate and the system driver does not handle it. If you can't get functional drivers, you can prevent the computer to go to sleep.

I advice you to install all factory drivers for Win10 from your motherboard manufacturer except for Intel Graphics. Especially, Intel Magement Engine. I think it is related to sleep states and changing clocks. I find newer Intel INF driver causes problems.

This should be relatively simple to remedy. 0x7Es usually call out the offending driver. You could use something like bluescreenview to interpret the crash dump files and identify what driver is causing the issue.

Most BSOD's are not because of OS itself. I would point at drivers and their, emm, creators. Googling says that this code is most likely due to drivers (as red_stapler already pointed out)/ What is the full error code? Event viewer should show that under System.

I don't know why people focus on W10 when all what they are having is just headaches:roll:but they still don't learn.

You know, that's just silly. I'm opposed to Microsoft's bullying ways of pushing Windows 10 on people. I'm opposed to the new ways our privacy is being invaded. I'm opposed to plenty of things there. But honestly, I've never had one "headache" due to Windows 10, and it's stupid to call that something that comes with the OS.

Personally, I'm getting sick of people bashing things they don't like with neither reason nor logic. Come on, there are plenty of legit complaints against Windows 10. A BSOD caused by a driver is not one of them.

Maybe the same driver installed on W7 doesn't get a BSOD, and that's mean W10 incompatibility:p

Yeah I've seen the "endless windows update loop" thing on way to many Win7 machines (along with other things) to say its inherently better than Win10. An many of the installs are upgrades, and they have always been worse than fresh installs. If anything I'd say the Win10 upgrades have generally been better than in previous versions.

I really doubt that. They use a nearly identical kernel. If anything, Windows 7 is more likely not to work with a driver written for Windows 10 than vice versa. That doesn't mean Windows 7 or 10 is broken, that means get the right driver for your hardware/software combo.

Windows 10's biggerst crime here is attempting to do it all for the user. It's not an architectural issue.

There wont be anything after Windows 10. It'll just get updated indefinitely.

Yeah I'm waiting for a new windows version as well, not sure if there will be a new version though, I remember reading on the internet that windows 10 stays and just gets updated all the time. I'm staying with windows 8.1 probably till EOL.:p
