Good Mobo For Slow Transistion?

Do you think this is a good motherboard for someone who wants to slowly transistion from AGP-->PCIE, Pentium 4--->Core2/CoreQuad,IDE--->SATA, ect?

Yea, they have made it hella more safer, seeing as people destroyed their boards without warning before, lol.
