    Hi all,

i would like to ask if there is a good resource game like Transport Tycoon (all time favorite) or any other business like sims (Theme hospital Theme parks)

are there some indie games where people post their games or the community produces some independent games? do tell guyz.

Also some diplomatic games would be welcome

    Or what about Capitalism II?

it seems i cannot find a lot of these jewels.

    Thank you

The Anno series (1602, 1503, 1404, and the newest 2070) are quite nice in my opinion.

Perhaps you'll also like Civilization, Sim City or Cities XL.

There are also the Settlers series, which fall into a different category, but might also prove a bit of a challenge resource wise.

I'm not an expert on indie games, but I hope theres something to your liking, or atleast something you havent thought of yet:p

Then I suggest you take a look at the steam store page under the simulation category, theres alot of business simulation games there for you to take a look at.

Tropico 4, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, they dont really make a lot of them anymore.

Cities XL i had hopes for but its just rubbish and it shouldn't have been. Sim City 4 is still the one to go as far as City Simulators.

If you like the Tycoon Series try the OpenTTD.

OpenTTD is an open source simulation game based upon Transport Tycoon Deluxe
    http://www.openttd.org/en/

You have hundreds of servers online, "new engine", improved graphics, models, maps etc...
    KieranD says thanks.

    Hi,

Perhaps try out The Movies by Lionhead (known for the Fable, Black & White series, formed by Peter Molyneux of Bullfrog) which pretty much plays like Theme Hospital, but then with movie/film production; I played it years ago and it's a great game. Or otherwise try out Monopoly Tycoon which was pretty fun too, it's more like mixing Sim City with Monopoly.

    Enjoy and have fun!

I'll vote against the Movies actually. It felt like it never got going.

Theme Hospital is a classic though. A good classic.

X3? You can build factories and have to keep them stocked in order to turn a profit. There's a mission in Terran Conflict called "The Hub" that takes many, many, many factories and a ton of infrastructure to complete (I've always cheated to complete it). It is a space/flight/sim so you might not be interested but it does have a complete economy.
