graphic design a pc that = a mac

    my g/f needs a new pc that is not a mac for graphic design is there anything out there that is a decent price and that will do photoshop cs2 , quark , and illustrator cs2 just as good as a mac

    she wants a prebuilt system from the store then just upgrade a few things like gpu and psu and maybe ram if their isnt enough

    she wants a warrenty

    Your best bet would be anything quad core based. But as you know, it is always cheaper to build....
    If you buy all new parts they come with individual warrantees.:confused:

    hp or gateway i trust had dell once and got the worst run around from them

    See, I am just the opposite. I had a horrible run in with both HP and Gateway. Dell has always treated me right. Well just saying try to find something quad core based, have fun! ;)

    that is funny i have never had a problem with hp or gateway but dell never again anyway so a quad intel or amd and what kind of gpu would be ok for her

    Do Intel based and ygpm.
