GTX 670 don't go idle with 2 screens connected

i looked at GPU-Z 0.7.8 today and i saw that my GTX 670 don't idle when i got my second screen just connected it's not even turned on.

normally i run my Yamakasi Catleap Q270 2560x1440@120hz and a Philips 21,5inch WLED 1080p for browsing and more while i game, but i am wondering if it's bcs i run a DVI to VGA converter on the 21,5inch screen bcs i got my xbox connected to it as well.

2 screens connected GPU-Z is stuck at 731,6/1502,3mhz with second screen just connected not even turned on:

when only my Yamakasi is conencted the card idles with the same processes in GPU Shark running so why does my second screen trigger almost full load?

i also tried a basic dvi cable but that don't do anything the card still runs at 731,6/1502,3mhz so i don't think it's dvi to vga connector triggering this.

hmm i guess i ran into a typical problem along with this, with the identity of the screen set up.

some say it's Windows bug other says it's GFX Manufactor in my case Nvidia that doesn't let u choose which output should be number 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on.

This problem here didn't show when i was only running 1xMonitor (DVI) and my TV connected to HDMI all boot went on to my monitor but after getting into that i wanted to use my second screen on my desk as a browser/video playing from time to time, with my GTX 670 it looks like the DVI-I (Dual-Link) is the primary port for showing booting display which clearly sucks when i use a DVI to VGA conector so i don't have to change cables when i want to use my xbox 360 on my second monitor :banghead:

(Bcs my second screen only got VGA and DVI and i use HDMI to DVI connector for my Xbox 360.)

but natively Windows (i tried this on 7 and 8.1) picks up HDMI as the Primary port when it comes to Identity numbers of the screens. Then the DVI, DP ports or whatever u use which is fucking annoying when some programs really depend on the identity of the monitor.

So far i think my idling problem is bcs i got 3 monitors/cables connected to my GTX 670 and Windows can't seem to turn off HDMI properly when it's not in use after being used i use Windows+P to my TV which is named "PC Screen only" while my other 2 screen is named "Second Screen only".

so my question is, is there a proper way to change the identities of my screen in Windows? bcs it seems like everytime i connect HDMI cable it gets Identity 1 :banghead:

those ain't working just changing the order of screen, i need identity change on the screen otherwise this will keep being a problem and i need keep unplugging my HDMI cable when i don't use it, and i don't want that.

u can have programs like UltraMon running but it will change anything in windows, and i want to be able to do that.

generally, running multi monitor kicks the card to low 3D clocks at idle. they simply need more grunt to run two screens.

you can use winkey+P to change software toggle the second screen on and off.

i have seen this issue with cards from both sides in multi screen setups.

it only happens when HDMI is connected because Windows thinks that HDMI is primary aka screen 1 by default disconnecting the HDMI cable and the card runs low idle no problem.
