I am building a new rig it will be air cooled except the cpu witch will be cooled by a h100i but i was wondering about the heat output of the asus vs ereference because the reference pushes air out of the case and the asus cards put air in the case witch one would you suggest this is the build im planning to make thanks for your advice.

Go reference cards. Asus card sure are great, however the factory OC is well done manually with MSI afterburner for example, and as you stated the air will blow from the back of case. Non reference design always get more air inside case.

I did SLI with MSI twin Froz 560TI for some time, I got around more 20ºC on my top card (Reaching 92ºC) and bottom card was around 71ºC. I have a Zalman Z9 plus with 4 fans (2 intakes+2 outtakes). Even so the temp inside case was around 52ºC. With 1 card is around 29ºC so you get the picture.
