I also heard the ywere gonna sub the GTX285's and for people that ordered (2) 280's they were going to sub the GTX295. that would be great.

But as we all know that if it's to good to be true then it probally is, Oh by the way i just made that up.

12:30 PM Departed FedEx location SACRAMENTO, CA Next scheduled tracking update: Jan 15, 2009

So far so good. I've read reports from all over from people who received their packages already. (those who overnighted their shipments.) My guess is the next update for my shipment will be when the package is in-state. I hope at least. I wonder how they selected who gets them. First come, first served? Payment method? Purchasing history on Buy.com?

You're going to want to get a bulkier psu. Those adaptors are not meant to be used for too long.

Damn why you gotta rub that sweet card in my face. I wish I would have bought one now. I had it in the cart and ready to go but I just couldn't get my self to finalize it. Oh well still haven't played a game yet that my 4870 can't handle. Plan on getting another one soon anyways.

I don't see anything wrong with that. He's got a PSU with dual PCI-e, just missing the 8-pin. I'd just plug the other 6pin straight to the card and used the molex adapters to the 8-pin adapter.

edit: seems it's a 500W, might run a bit hot

But also a new PSU coming already.

Not a bad quality from antec. I got a 450W PSU to shutdown on 3dMark06 with just a 8800GT
