I have an idea of combining these cards together, since i have them.
Can i combine them? anyone know how to do it?
Also, both cards, do not have the sli connection.
My motherboard has 2 pci-express slots.

Not possible BUT you could run the 9500GT for physx. Alternatively, I would sell the 9500GT and look into a second 6770. Not many games out could utilize the PhysX portion of the 9500GT.

Yes. There were some motherboards with HydraLogix that allowed you to mix cards from AMD and Nvidia, but they were pretty expensive and afaik the technology never really took off.

Why spend the cash there though when all he has to do is just get a 2nd hd6770, if wanting a dual gpu setup.

I believe that was part of why it never took off. It's cool and all but the fundamental concept is pretty flawed.

First; you cant use AMD and Nvidia together [unless your MB have HydraLogix]
Second; the M4A89GTD PRO only have Crossfire certification.
